Tacoma trail project starts next week

Construction is expected to take around a year, and the segment will be closed until the work is done.

TACOMA — Starting next week, a section of Five Mile Drive at Point Defiance Park will be closed to vehicles as contractors will begin work on a new paved trail separating vehicles from pedestrians and cyclists.
