BMWC Constructors is celebrating its 70th anniversary. The Indianapolis-based industrial and commercial contractor has offices in the Seattle and Portland areas. It was founded in 1955 by Jack Baker as Baker Mechanical, and now employs over 2,000 people, with new offices now open in Arizona and North Carolina. “No company can reach 70 years without the dedication of its employees and the trust of its clients. Our craft professionals, project teams, and support staff have played a vital role in building something that has endured for 70 years. To our clients, your partnership and trust have been essential every step of the way. Our people built it, and our clients believed in it. Thank you for 70 incredible years,” Chris Buckman, BMWC's president and CEO, said in a news release Monday.
