WoodSpring Suites slated for Algona

ALGONA, King County — WoodSpring Suites is a budget extended-stay brand owned by the publicly traded Choice Hotels, which is based in Maryland.

As the DJC noted last month, WoodSpring is planning to buy and redevelop a bare site in Federal Way with a four-story, 122-room hotel. The team there includes BRR Architects and AHBL, the surveyor, civil engineer and landscape architect. That's at 955 S. 356th St., on the corner of Pacific Highway South. Park Silver Development is an arm of WoodSpring.
