Kirkland repaving work heats up

KIRKLAND — Repaving work along a major east-west corridor in downtown Kirkland is slated to kick off Monday.

Contractor Lakeside Industries expects to begin daytime work Aug. 18 on Central Way from Market Street to Sixth Street, making curb, gutter and curb ramp repairs, utility lowering, grinding off the top layer of asphalt, and patching damaged sections of the pavement.
