WSF's hybrid-electric Wenatchee pulled from service after power loss

Vigor Marine Seattle completed the hybrid-electric conversion of the 1998-era vessel, pictured here in May just ahead of its return to service last month.

The newly-returned M/V Wenatchee experienced a mechanical issue while docking in Seattle on Friday morning, causing it to lose power, a spokesperson for Washington State Ferries told the DJC.
