Tolt Dam sirens will turn back on

CARNATION, King County — Seattle Public Utilities says it is in the process of turning the Tolt Dam Early Warning System back on.

The move comes at the request of the city of Carnation. Since March of 2024, the sirens have been off while a third party conducted an independent review of the system.
