Big I-405 closure this weekend

BELLEVUE — A full southbound Interstate 405 closure is set to start tonight in Bellevue and Renton to allow crews to excavate drainage crossings, replace pavement, and make a traffic switch.

The work is part of the Washington State Department of Transportation's ongoing I-405/Renton to Bellevue Widening and Express Toll Lanes Project, creating an express toll lane (ETL) system between state Route 167 in Renton and Northeast Sixth Street in Bellevue.
