Bids in for Stride Shoreline section

SEATTLE — Pivetta Brothers Construction of Sumner is the apparent low bidder on the Seattle to Shoreline section of Sound Transit's Stride S3 bus rapid transit line. The notice of low bidders for the project ran in Thursday's DJC.

The project centers on work along state Route 523 in Seattle and Shoreline, building four bus rapid transit stations, including paving, curb installations, structural foundations, utilities, and transit and traffic signals. It has an engineer's estimate of $38.4 million.
