SEATTLE — Ongoing road closures at Northeast 130th Street near Interstate 5 are scheduled as Sound Transit contractor crews continue to work on the new elevated Pinehurst Station, slated to enter passenger service in 2026.
The closure of eastbound Northeast 130th Street going over the I-5 overpass began Oct. 13 and will run through at least the end of November as crews with contractor Absher Construction Company make roadway improvements, including work on the traffic island there. Access to eastbound Roosevelt Way Northeast from the off-ramp and Fifth Avenue Northeast will remain closed during this time.
