County surplus goes online

SEATTLE — King County has launched a new online surplus auction, offering everything from gently used furniture, bicycles and office supplies to small equipment such as mowers, blowers and chain saws.

The county's Fleet Services, which manages the surplus program, oversees the new online auction, which is aimed at making it easy for the public to buy surplus county goods.
