WASHINGTON — Material prices for construction were up 0.2% in September compared to the previous month, according to an Associated Builders and Contractors analysis of U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics' Producer Price Index data released last week.
The ABC found that overall construction input prices were 3.5% higher than in September 2024. Nonresidential construction input prices were also up — 0.2% for the month, and 3.8% over last year.
