N. Cascades Highway closing for the season

WINTHROP, Okanogan County — State Route 20, also known as the North Cascades Highway, is set to close for the winter starting at 6 p.m. Thursday.

The Washington State Department of Transportation says it is closing SR 20 North Cascades Highway for the winter due to conditions and avalanche risk.
