Post-strike SR-167 repairs wrap up early

Crews removed this damaged girder and installed a new 60-foot, 26-ton support beam in its place.

Washington State Department of Transportation contractor crews were scheduled to finalize repairs and restore the original traffic configuration at the Third Avenue Southwest Bridge in Pacific last night, reopening all three travel lanes of northbound state Route 167 at 5 a.m. this morning.
