Sprinkler policy change could benefit lowrise residential builders

Intracorp Homes is now selling units in this Queen Anne townhouse project. SDCI says it has seen an uptick in applications for four-story residential structures.

New four-story residential structures are on the rise — literally — due to a demand for density and additional housing in the city, according to the Seattle Department of Construction and Inspections.
