I-405 work set for this weekend

BELLEVUE — Ramp closures and overnight lane reductions are planned on northbound Interstate 405 in Bellevue this weekend as crews build a retaining wall there.

The work is part of the Washington State Department of Transportation's ongoing I-405/Renton to Bellevue Widening and Express Toll Lanes Project, creating an express toll lane (ETL) system between state Route 167 in Renton and Northeast Sixth Street in Bellevue. In general, the project adds one new lane in each direction and combines an existing HOV lane with the new lane to create a dual ETL system.
