Corps of Engineers aims to cut project paperwork

SEATTLE — The Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works Adam R. Telle announced a new initiative Monday aimed at speeding delivery of the Army's Civil Works projects.

The plan, called “Building Infrastructure, Not Paperwork,” seeks to streamline processes within the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and sharpen its focus on core water-resource missions.
