New SEPA rules aim to simplify permits

SEATTLE — Changes to the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) review requirements take effect March 20, aimed at simplifying permits by eliminating most reviews citywide for new housing.

Mayor Katie Wilson signed two ordinances earlier this month, updating the SEPA process in the city.
