ABC: Backlog rises as contractor confidence strengthens in February

    The Associated Builders and Contractors says construction backlogs ticked up in February, offering a modest sign of momentum for the industry even as economic uncertainty continues to shape contractor expectations.

    ABC's latest survey shows its Construction Backlog Indicator rising to 8.1 months, up slightly from January, but still below the level recorded a year earlier.
