Amtrak's new $300M maintenance facility tops out at King Street Yard

The facility’s superstructure is made up of about 1.8 million pounds of steel fabricated off-site.

With the placing of the final beam of the steel structure of the new maintenance and inspection facility at King Street Yard, Amtrak is one step closer to launching the next generation of U.S. train travel on the Cascades line.
