Hoffman tapped for Sound Transit's new Federal Way maintenance hub

The light-rail network’s second operations and maintenance facility opened in 2021 in Bellevue’s Spring District, designed and built by Hensel Phelps Construction.

Sound Transit's board is set to meet today to vote on an initial contract with Hoffman Construction to act as progressive design-builder for a new Link maintenance facility and yard in Federal Way that will service the agency's growing fleet of light-rail vehicles.
