Library Levy heads to council vote

SEATTLE — The Seattle City Council will meet Tuesday to decide on whether to place the proposed $479.7 million Library Levy package on the August ballot for consideration by Seattle voters.

Mayor Katie B. Wilson originally proposed a $410 million levy that includes money for collections and programming as well as building renovations and updates.
