ABC: Daily safety practices sharply reduce jobsite injuries

Construction companies that follow proven safety management practices are dramatically safer than industry averages, according to a new report released yesterday by Associated Builders and Contractors.

The group's 2026 Health and Safety Performance Report found that participants in ABC's STEP Health and Safety Management System recorded incident rates nearly seven times better than the national construction average.
