    PCL Construction and Amtrak recently gave a tour of Amtrak’s new $300 million maintenance facility at King Street yard in Seattle to buildHER seventh to 12th graders.

    Four years ago, buildHER launched as a two-day summer day camp with a mission to introduce girls and gender-expansive teens to AEC-related skills and projects. The nonprofit has since expanded to a longer camp and more year-round events across the region, including career exploration days, site tours and a one-day camp this summer in the Skagit Valley.
