Meeting today on ST3 updates

SEATTLE — Sound Transit's executive committee is scheduled to take up a new timeline for delivering regional light-rail projects at a special hybrid meeting from 1:30-4 p.m. today.

The committee is set to again consider a resolution introduced last week to delay some planned building work due to a significant budget shortfall. Resolution R2026-11, as discussed last week, builds the West Seattle extension (without Avalon), the Ballard Extension to the Seattle Center only (but fully funds its design), the Tacoma Dome Link, Phase I and II of the Everett Link, South and North Link operations and maintenance facilities, and the North Sounder Maintenance Base.
