Backlogs, confidence rise again, thanks to data centers

Construction firms reported modest gains in both backlog and confidence in April, driven largely by a surge in data center projects, according to new data from the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).

ABC's Construction Backlog Indicator rose to 8.8 months, up 0.2 months from March and slightly higher than the same time last year.
