WASHINGTON, D.C. — Seven airports in Washington state will receive more than $82 million in federal funding for infrastructure upgrades, U.S. Sen. Maria Cantwell announced yesterday.
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport will receive the largest share, totaling $39.4 million. About $30.2 million will go toward early construction work on the South Concourse reconstruction, including structural and seismic improvements and ADA upgrades. An additional $9.25 million will fund two new traffic lanes on the arrivals roadway.
