Faber tapped for Lopez Food Center

LOPEZ ISLAND — An intent to award has been issued for construction of the Lopez Food Center — a new food hub, commercial kitchen and gather place, as well as a permanent home for the Lopez Island Food Bank.

Located at 201 Weeks Road, the project includes demolition of the current structure and construction of a new single-story facility. Faber Construction of Lynden has been tapped for the project, with an award amount listed at nearly $6.9 million.
