Construction job openings jump

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The construction industry posted 305,000 job openings at the end of June, an increase of 14,000 from May and 81,000 more than a year earlier, according to an analysis by Associated Builders and Contractors of U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data.

The year-over-year increase represents a 36% jump in available positions, with continued demand for workers across the sector.
