Fish passage job closes SR-169

By JOURNAL STAFF

BLACK DIAMOND — A 35-day closure of State Route 169 near Black Diamond begins today as the Washington State Department of Transportation starts work on a multi-year fish passage improvement project near Jones Lake.

The closure will affect both directions of SR-169 between Southeast 332nd Street and Plass Road, with all lanes scheduled to reopen Sept. 21, weather permitting.
