Skanska launches third season of in-water piledriving for Portage Bay Bridge project

Crews ready to drive one of the piles supporting work bridge extension on the south side of the Portage Bay Bridge during last year’s in-water impact piledriving season.

Crews are set to kick off their third season of in-water impact piledriving this morning on the Portage Bay Bridge jobsite. This is the third season of this work, of a total of five estimated for the job.
