Nevada's first wastewater-to-drinking-water plant breaks ground in Reno

The plant was designed to treat roughly 2 million gallons of wastewater a day to make it compliant with drinking-water standards.

Water that once went down a drain in North Valleys could be flowing back out of a kitchen tap by the early 2030s.
