Crews work on Stride S3 line

SEATTLE — Crews are busy this week doing roadwork on Northeast 145th Street where Seattle meets Shoreline for the Stride S3 Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line.

Intermittent lane closures were planned in three separate work zones along 145th Street, which divides the two jurisdictions. Crews with Sound Transit contractor Pivetta Brothers Construction of Sumner are working from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays on a variety of tasks, including utility work, roadway widening, other roadway work, water retention vault work, sidewalk improvements and station-related construction.
