Meeting on data center downtown

SEATTLE — Seattle's Department of Construction and Inspections has scheduled a public meeting later this month to discuss a proposed data center development for 301 Virginia St. downtown.

The proposal from Digital Realty Trust LP calls for a six-story research and development laboratory and office building, with retail and business support services, including the data center, and parking for 38 vehicles. Some existing structures would be demolished.
