Air Force starts new B-21 plant

PALMDALE, Calif. — The Department of the Air Force and Northrop Grumman have broken ground on a new final assembly line for the B-21 Raider at Air Force Plant 42 in Palmdale, California.

According to an announcement last week by Air Force Public Affairs, the project is designed to increase manufacturing capacity and accelerate delivery of the Air Force's next-generation stealth bomber.
