Work begins on development beside Mount Baker Station

City officials and development partners at the ceremonial groundbreaking on Thursday.

At the old UW Consolidated Laundry property just west of the Mount Baker Link light rail station, construction is now underway on more than 400 affordable rental homes, an early learning campus and community spaces.
