Audi to build $4B vehicle plant in Georgia

Audi has announced a major expansion in the United States, with plans to build its first U.S. manufacturing facility at Georgia's Middle Georgia Mega Site.

The German luxury automaker said it intends to invest about $4 billion in the project and create approximately 4,500 jobs. Construction is expected to begin in 2027, with vehicle production slated to start in the early 2030s.
