A smooth, quick bridge fix

    After experiencing heavy traffic last year during repairs to the northbound part of Steamboat Slough Bridge, WSDOT used unconventional traffic control methods along with contractor incentives to speed up work this year on the southbound lanes.

    There's nothing quite like closing a bridge to tie up traffic.
