    By the end of 2005, this two-lane traffic bottleneck at Arlington's Smokey Point overpass on I-5 will be six lanes wide, helping to meet development demands.

    A widened, six-lane Interstate 5 overpass at Arlington's Smokey Point interchange won't be finished until late 2005, but the impending $6.5 million project is already promising to ease not only traffic congestion but also a backlog of economic projects in north Snohomish County.
