    DARBY, Mont. — When the public library here moved from a tiny log cabin without plumbing to a stunning new building, patrons may have wondered if they were in a Western lodge: rock fireplace, rustic tables, armchairs that beckon, and the overarching use of logs with warm tones of brown.
