Project of the Week: Paine Field

Two hangars were recently completed on a 6-acre site at the southwest corner of Paine Field in Everett. Construction costs were estimated at $7.7 million.

Hangar B is 27,500 square feet with two 105- by-28-foot tip-up doors to accommodate a pair of Gulfstream G-5 jets. It also has 6,000 square feet of office space and clerestory windows. Hangar C is 16,000 square feet with two 70- by-22-foot tip-up doors. It includes 1,000 square feet of office space and clerestory windows on the south side.
