Housing Resources Group has opened Rose Street Apartments on Rainier Avenue between South Henderson Street and Columbia City. The 71-unit complex has 4,000 square feet of commercial space.
Rose Street has one- and two-bedroom units, a play area, underground parking and a laundry room. Residents who meet income qualifications will pay between $733 and $958 per month.
The transit-oriented development is close to the Othello Light Rail station, multiple bus routes and the Rainier Beach Community Center.
Three live/work studios and corner retail space on Rainier Avenue are available for businesses or artists' studios.
The building meets the Washington Evergreen Standard with energy-efficient appliances, lighting and central hot water heating.
