The Eleanor

The Eleanor, a two-building apartment complex, has opened at 800 N.E. 67th St. in the Roosevelt area.

The seven-story, 267-unit complex is two blocks east of the future Roosevelt light rail station and two blocks north of the Green Lake Park & Ride. It has parking for about 200 cars.

A boardwalk and greenscape separate the two buildings. Units range from studios to three bedrooms, from 519 to 1,428 square feet. Larger units are being marketed toward families, with storage for strollers and bikes, and a dedicated dog-washing station.

The main lobby and common area is a two-story space with a fireplace and reading nooks.

A penthouse on the west building offers a party space, two smaller "living room" spaces and a quiet studio area. The outdoor terrace has barbecues, a fireplace and lounge seating.

The units have floor-to-ceiling windows, open floor plans, stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops.

A rooftop rainwater collection system irrigates a stream beneath the boardwalk. Green features include solar panels, sun shades, and high-efficiency plumbing fixtures and appliances.

Under the city's Multifamily Property Tax Exemption program, The Eleanor contains 59 workforce housing units.
