The Union Club, at 539 Broadway in Tacoma, was originally built in 1888 as an elite social club. It has recently been re-purposed as a mixed-use office and event space.
The historic, 15,000-square-foot building combines an artist studio, event hall and office co-working spaces. Work included repairs, bringing the building up to modern fire safety code and restoring the gas fireplaces.
The building now offers permanent and communal workspaces, Wi-Fi and a kitchen.
