The Aries is a new 206,000-square-foot transit-oriented apartment community at 916 N. 143rd St. in Seattle’s Bitter Lake neighborhood.
The community has 200 units in a mix of studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts for low-income individuals and families. Half of those units are larger two- and three-bedroom apartments.
Amenities are geared toward families and include an outside play area, game room and communal garden plots.
The project team used a collaborative cost-efficient design and construction approach. This included the careful layout of walls and units that minimized sheetrock waste and finishing.
