Located at 1511 Sixth Ave. in the Decatur Building between Pike and Pine streets, the 7,600-square-foot restaurant seats 136 guests in the dining room and up to 100 guests in the Boardroom. The restaurant is open for dinner only, from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays. The lounge opens nightly at 5 p.m.
Morton's prefers basement locations in the heart of downtowns and the new Seattle restaurant is no exception, being located on the lower level of the Decatur Building. The interior features dark woods, subdued lighting and white tablecloths, as well as a collection of LeRoy Neiman limited edition serigraphs and photographs of local and national celebrities. Morton's exhibition kitchen and food and wine displays punctuate the setting.
R.D. Olson of Costa Mesa, Calif. was the general contractor. The architect was Shea Architecture of New York.
