CDi Engineers announced that Mari M. Hamasaki has earned her Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design professional accreditation through the U.S. Green Building Council. The certification means that Hamasaki has demonstrated her knowledge of green building design, practices and strategies and her understanding of the LEED Green Building Rating System, resources and processes.
Hamasaki incorporates her knowledge and experience with sustainable building design on the projects she manages, most notably for the Seattle Justice Center, which is designed to obtain a LEED Silver rating. She also serves as project manager for such projects as the University of Washington Suzzallo Library renovation, new construction and renovations to the Instructional Technology Center at South Seattle Community College and building commissioning services at the Immunex Cell Banking facility in Bothell.
