Bucher, Willis & Ratliff named Mike Pawlak as the new office manager for the firm’s Seattle office. Pawlak has served the firm for five years as vice president and director of Northwest transportation services.
He brings 28 years of experience to the position, specializing in transportation engineering and planning. Pawlak is managing the Valley Mall Boulevard extension project for Union Gap, the Marysville State Avenue road improvements project and the Peninsula Regional Transportation Planning Organization for the state Department of Transportation.
Julie Bohm was recently named business development coordinator for BWR’s Seattle office. This new position involves managing business development and marketing activities in the Pacific Northwest. Bohm is responsible for making and maintaining contacts with current and potential clients, assisting with recruiting activities, preparing marketing materials and monitoring regional business development activities for the firm.
BWR is an engineering, planning and architecture firm specializing in transportation, facilities planning and design and environmental management. The firm was established in 1957 and is ranked in the top 500 design firms.
