ESA Adolfson hired Michael Muscari as a wetlands ecologist and Mike Leech as a senior GIS analyst in the firm’s Seattle office. Muscari has more than 14 years of experience in botany, terrestrial and aquatic ecology. For the past 10 years he has concentrated on wetlands and has managed projects in Washington, Oregon and Alaska. He recently helped develop a wetland mitigation bank in Snohomish County. Leech has more than seven years of experience in GIS database development, analysis, image processing, spatial analysis and cartography in natural resource management. He recently coordinated a GIS field-based campaign using GPS technology to control invasive species on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. He is currently working with local cities and counties to update shoreline plans.
