$250M biomass energy plant will be built on site in Shelton

The Adage plant will burn wood debris to create electricity.

Adage LLC, a bioenergy joint venture between Areva and Duke Energy, expects to sign a long-term lease with the Port of Shelton to build a $250 million biomass energy plant at John’s Prairie Industrial Park.
