The speakers are Eric Vander Mey of Rushing and Christie Baumel of the Seattle Office of Sustainability & Environment. Vander Mey will cover proposed changes to the state energy code. The public comment period ends Oct. 23. He will look at how the changes will affect businesses and how comments could improve the outcome.
Baumel will look at new policies under development to make energy benchmarking results more transparent, and a proposed “retrocommissioning lite” requirement that will be introduced this fall.
